Nature of request
The prior requests remedy as Renham and others have demolished the prior's houses in London and carried away the materials, and entered his church of St Olaf and carried away the oblations, and by confederacy and malice that have threatened the prior's proctor so that he cannot pursue his suit in the Guildhall or the bishop's court of Arches.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the mayor and the sheriffs that they should prevent such force and duress, and proclaim that no one is to be so presumptuous as to disturb the prior in any manner from pursuing his right in their court or any other.
