The petitioners request that the king will grant them a licence to grant the manor of East Chelborough to Blakemore and others so that they can regrant it to the Busshes, the manor remaining to Chydyok after Eleanor's death, the manor being held from the king.1)
Nature of endorsement
The King has granted this bill by the advice of his council for a reasonable fine made in Chancery for the letters patent made in due form.2) Let him sue in the Chancery.

The guard notes date this to 1413-1416, and state that it has to be before 1417 seemingly based on an entry in the patent rolls (CPR 1413-16, p.67). However, the patent roll entry is a fine between Ralph and Eleanor Bush for their marriage without licence. The current date is derived from a later fine presumably issued in response to this petition.
