The Burghs request remedy as they are not able to have remedy by writ or the Statute of Westminster concerning the alienation of land and the advowson of Sherington by the prior of Tickford against the Statute, which land and advowson Sibyl's ancestors gave to the prior in pure alms

Because there is a statute in such cases, they should go to Chancery and have a writ upon the Statute.
