Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition dates to c. 1330 as the petitioner was granted a bailiwick in the forest of Rockingham, though not apparently the one mentioned in the petition (CPR 1330-4, p.70). It is unlikely that the petition can be earlier in Edward III's reign as Bilborough seems to have been imprisoned by the new Mortimer regime in 1327 (CFR 1327-37, p.64).
