Nature of request
Stanes requests remedy as he holds the manor of Towthorpe which lies outside the forest of Galtres, except for a small piece of his woodland that lay in the forest of Galtres, and the ministers of the forest accused him of taking waste from the woodland and took it into the king's hand. He sued in Chancery for this and had a writ to replevy his woods until this parliament, and he requests a writ of replevin until the next heir.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the keeper of the Forest that if the first replevin was first made within the year and a day, and the continuance which is requested is according to the assize of the Forest, that he is to make replevin until the next eyre.
