Nature of request
It is requested that it be commanded that no corn is to be exported out of the country in general, and especially out of the eight counties adjacent to London as without remedy there will be a shortage through bad weather.
Nature of endorsement
14 February 6 Hen. V, it is agreed by the council that a writ should be directed to the sheriffs of London, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Oxfordshire upon the contents of this petition.
Places mentioned

People mentioned
John of Lancaster, Duke of Bedford, Keeper of England.
Note
The petition can be dated to 1419 by the dating clause in the response that makes this 14 February in the 6th regnal year, and although Henry V is not by name specified, he was regent from 1417-1421. It is not impossible that this could be Henry VI's reign, but it seems unlikely.
