Commonalty of the counties of Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.
Addressees
King and council.
Nature of request
The commonalty of the two counties request remedy as the justices assigned in accordance with the ordinance made in the last parliament to enquire of oppressions and extortions made by sheriffs and other ministers of the king do not wish to come to the county whereby the people are much aggrieved.
Nature of endorsement
Let him have a writ to the justices that they should attend.

The petition dates to c. 1321 as the commissions of oyer and terminer of which the petitioners complain were issued on 18 December 1320 and 21 February 1321 (CPR 1317-21, pp.548, 558).
