Bouteteurt requests a writ to the escheator to remove his hand from the manor of Iselhampstede which is part of her inheritance but which Despenser attached to him through his power and menaces because of her late husband's role in the first quarrel of Thomas of Lancaster.1)
Nature of endorsement
Because the king has given the manor to Bereford, and he is in seisin, without a further great council nothing can be done.2) She should proceed by the common law.
