The petitioner, who was born in Wales, requests that the commons request the king and the lords spiritual and temporal assembled in parliament to grant that he be denizen with all the appurtenant privileges.

Note
The petition is likely to be a near contemporary of another petition by the same petitioner on the same matter which dates to 1432 (10 Hen. VI) (SC 8/124/6186; Rot. Parl., Vol. IV, p.415a-b (no.4)). In addition the petition is contemporary with a petition by another Welshman, David ap Howell of Marrington in Shropshire as the two have identical responses on the face (SC 8/90/4476).
