Nature of request
Antry requests that the king will grant him lands elsewhere in compensation for the manor of Ogilface which the king has granted to Barde. At the instance of the earl, the king granted the lands that were du Bois's, but subsequently granted Uggelfas to Barde from the same lands.

It is ordered to the keeper and chamberlain that they should hear the parties and do justice.

The petition has been dated to c. 1303 on the guard on the basis that the petition refers to the original grant made to the petitioner on the feast of St James the Apostle, 29 Edward I (25 July 1301), and the petition is some little time afterwards, but before the end of Edward I's reign. c. 1303 covers these eventualities. This date is also assigned it in Bain (Bain, vol. II, no.1429).
