Name(s)
Agace; Agace; Hoo; Dousyng, William; Ralph; William; Hervy
Addressees
King and council.
Nature of request
The petitioners request a remedy so that they may recover the lands and chattels that they were disseised of by the earl, and hold them in the form that they held them when they did fealty to the king. They hold of ancient demesne, and the earl enfeoffed the king with the lands when they did fealty to the king. The king re-enfeoffed the earl who then disseised them, and they dared not seek a remedy by writ for fear of the earl.
Nature of endorsement
If they understand they have a right they should go to Chancery and acquire a writ against the earl.

People mentioned
