Nature of request
Writ of Edward III to Gilbert Talebot, Justiciar of South Wales, or his lieutenant, asking him to inquire into the true value of the lands and tenements held by Llewelyn ap Arthen in Iscoed near Cardigan, which came into the hands of Edward II through forfeiture, and to inform him about this.
Nature of endorsement
[On face] By petition of the council.[On dorse] I executed this writ according to its tenor, as appears in the inquisition attached to this writ.
