Nature of request
John Crispus of Ireland requests a writ of inquisition into the theft of his corn from his land in Duftheaun by brother Philip Curteys, Master of the hospital of Kilmainham Beg, which corn he had received from brother Philip for a debt he owed him for some land he sold to brother William Fitz Roger, Prior of the Hospital of Ireland. He also requests a remedy for 18 marks which brother William and brother Philip should have paid to Richard Heustace, burgess of Kells, for the same land, which they are withholding.

This petition is to be sent to Ireland, and the Justiciar is to be ordered to do for it what is to be done.
