Dated on the guard to '? c. 1458', with reference to a mention of Walter Arderne in CPR 1452-61 p.460 (7 October 1458) and CPR 1441-6 pp.181 and 220 (references to Robert Arderne from July and November 1443). However, correct date should be c 1454, as per order dated 18 May to the escheators of Warwickshire and Worcestershire to deliver lands to Walter Arderne (CCR 47-54 p. 459)
