Isabel Abel states that she has sued various writs against Henry de Sydenhale and his companions in Warwickshire and Nottinghamshire. On one occasion she was attacked and beaten in Holborn, and her arm broken and her writs taken, and then, when she had a day at Canterbury, a false inquest was procured against her in Middlesex, leading to her imprisonment in the Marshalsea. However, it was eventually decided before the justices at Canterbury that she should go quit. She requests the King's letters to the Chancellor or his lieutenant to do justice to her for these wrongs, and also a writ of conspiracy against her adversaries.
