Note (Additional information about the record)
- This petition can be dated to 1318-22 by Robert de Grendon, who was Sheriff of Shropshire between 29 November 1318 and 1 January 1322. A note at the start of this file, dated 5 May 1932, states that 'Nos. 4351-4364 are copied in R. C. Transcripts I. 156, and appear to form part of an original file of petitions to the parliament of Michaelmas 1320'. This petition is therefore tentatively dated to 1320.
