Nature of request
Hugh de Snyterby, tenant of the King in Winterton in Lincolnshire, states that he had made an agreement with John Waldeschef, to defend him and other tenants of the King's in a writ of trespass, but that John took their money and did not defend them, and 100s are now demanded of them from the green wax because of this lack of defence. He requests grace and a remedy.
Nature of endorsement
He is to sue before the justices before whom the plea was held, and justice is to be done to him there.
