The Friars Minor of Oxford request that they might appropriate a plot in Oxford, worth only 2s. annually, in mortmain, as an inquisition finds that it is to no-one's prejudice.

Note
CPR pp.376 (dated 8 July 1319) & 579 (dated 1 May 1321) & 585 (dated 12 May 1321) show that the Friars Minor are seeking to expand their holdings at this time. The donation mentioned in the petition might be any of these or another, and the petition might well date from the Michaelmas parliament of 1320 like many others in this file.
