Nature of request
John Holt, squire, and Margaret his wife rehearse their right to certain lands and tenements in Aston, Vauxhall and Bordesley in Warwickshire, of which John was seised until the king granted them to him and Margaret by his letters patent, in the nineteenth year of his reign. These lands and tenements were specifically exempted from the act of resumption made in the last parliament at Westminster. John and Margaret now ask that it might be granted by authority of parliament that they might hold them as they did before this grant was made.

The petitioners were exempted from acts of resumption in 1449, 1450 and 1455 (Rot. Parl. vol. V, pp. 195a. 224a, 315) This petition therefore seems to belong to the parliaments of 1450, 1453 or 1459.
