Nature of request
Remfre de Durfort, knight of the Agenais, states that all his woods have been sold and cut down by the French, and asks for an arpent of wood in the forest that the king has in the viscounty of Gaure, so that he can rebuild his houses and mills, which have been destroyed.
Nature of endorsement
The Seneschal and Constable are to be ordered to let him have wood to the value of £30 of Bigorre, of the king's gift, in the place where it will be of least harm to the king, and of the greatest profit to him.
