Nature of request
Bourdelhe requests that he may have the office of notary of scribe of St Fe at the farm that he used to pay. He was granted it by the king, but was ejected when the land came into the hand of the king of France. When he recovered it he was charged more for it than was stipulated in the grant.1)
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the seneschal and constable that they do justice to him in accordance with the ordinances made by the earl of Lincoln and Otto de Grandison, and he is to have letters if it is his will.2) Coram rege.
