Nature of request
1) The consuls request restoration of several parishes that the lord of Bergerac occupied at the beginning of the war, and which he was condemned to lose in the court of France at the suit of the consuls, but the king has done nothing.2) The consuls request aid in the construction of a stone wall for their bastide as they are not able to meet the expenses.1)
Nature of endorsement
And concerning what they request that the king not put them out of his hand, it is answered that he has no intention of putting out of his hand what he has received.2) And concerning the enclosure let it be ordered to the seneschal that he inform himself of the profit that the king is able to have, and he certify him.
