Elesfield requests [remedy] as the manor of Easthampstead was granted to his father by the king in exchange for Blunsdon and Cricklade in Wiltshire which his father held until the manor was granted to the queen, and he was ousted by the escheator. His father has sued in several parliaments . . .
Nature of endorsement
He should come into Chancery and show his charter, and there when the inquisitions returned into Chancery on this matter have been viewed, and the king's sergeants and others have been called, let justice be done.
