The abbot requests that he is granted the king's two tenants in Oke, as the remainder of the vill belongs to the abbot, and he will give to the king half a mark of rent in Stafford or Bridgnorth, which are both the king's.

The petition dates to 1327 as the inquisition ad quod dampnum for the exchange was held in the first year of Edward III, and the grant of the exchange by the king was made on 5 October 1327 (C 143/196/12; CPR 1327-30, p.177).
