Nature of request
Haydone and Warin request remedy and they not be distrained for money that their fathers received for the sale of wood in the forest of Dean for Clare which is now on demand from them in the Exchequer, though there father's paid the same money to Clare's receivers, they being charged by error as can be found in the Exchequer.
Nature of endorsement
The should have a writ to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that when they have examined the rolls and memoranda of the Exchequer concerning the contents of the petition, and also the inquisition returned there, they should do justice to the plaintiffs. And if they find that the money exacted ought to be discharged then they should discharge it.
