- The people request that the people of the town and Lowey of Pevensey be distrained to make contributions to demands of the king for boats etc. as they ought to do. The town of Pevensey is a member of the town of Hastings, and is of the same liberty, and ought to be justiceable to them, but has withdrawn and will not make contributions.

- It is ordered to the keeper of the Cinque Ports that he should hear the quarrel of the men of Hastings in that part and call those that should be called, and hear their arguments etc. and he should do justice.
