Nature of request
Hastinges requests that the king will command that he is able to have sufficiently made under the great seal testimony of the livery and exchange made by Henry III to his great-grandfather of several manors in exchange for his part of the inheritance of the earl of Chester, as he petitioned before at another parliament but the chancellor refused to act without a special commandment, and he now requests the king's will so that he is not disinherited.1)
Nature of endorsement
The assignment that was made should be viewed, and the king should be certified, and because other petitions were made and answered in a parliament of the late king, the petitions and responses should be viewed.2) Coram rege.
