Copy of a letter from the abbot to Edward II in response to a letter directed to him by the king concerning the seizure of the goods of Alain, and the abbot's response to this.

Because the plea is pending . . . in Chancery upon the contents in the petition just as . . . the petition should be delivered into Chancery and those who ought to be called be called . . . and let justice be done there . . .
