- The abbot requests a remedy as Alayn has had a writ of Chancery to arrest the goods of the abbot in Sussex because he claims that his goods were taken in the power of the abbot. In response to a command of the king the abbot has done all he can and has notified the king of this but Alayn has proceeded with the writ.
