Queldryk and Seint Osewald request remedy and that a rent due to them from a tenement in Skeldergate in York be paid along with the 9 years worth of arrears. Ouseburn gave the tenement to the late king and it is now incorporated in the palace of York by the king's command, and an earlier inquisition has found the rent to be due to the petitioners.
Nature of endorsement
Let this petition be ordered into Chancery and the chancellor assign certain barons of the Exchequer with others to enquire of this matter, and that the inquisition be returned into Chancery, and the other inquisition which remains in Chancery be viewed, and the chancellor is to call those of the king's council to do justice.
