Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition clearly postdates the death of Peter Fitz Reginald whose inquisition post mortem was held on 20 September 1326. If one takes into consideration the turmoil over the next few months, it is unlikely that custody of the heir or lands would have been made until 1327, so that the petition probably dates to 1327-1330 at the latest c. 1326 encompasses this range.
