The petitioners request that Chapelein be put to distress to answer what goods he has in his possession of theirs. They had freighted bales of wool aboard two ships of Dunwich, and one of the boats was lost with her cargo, crew, and some of the merchants, the other ship whose master was Chapelein came to Sandwich and Chapelein sent some bales to Cornwallis in London, subsequently Chapelein, seeing that the charters for the cargo were lost with the other ship sued for the bales and sent them to Dunwich, and Vile Noeve has nothing of them, and the petitioners do not know what of the cargo he has.
