Venuz requests a suitable remedy for his profit and that he can come by his lands which are in the king's hand because the sheriff is levying a rent of a mark for a purpresture from Linwood Forest which his grandfather took at rent, and which his father sold.
Nature of endorsement
This should be sent by writ of Chancery to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer and they should do justice on the contents of the petition.
