Joint office of Medical Officer for St. George and Surgeon to the Lunatic Asylum and Poor House will become vacant next month; Lieutenant Governer Freeling wanted to obtain services of a medical officer from England or elswhere, Rawson informed him that it was not in his power to recommend a competent officer, and that before applying to England it would be necessary for the Legislature of Grenada to provide passage money for person selected; legislature has now provided £50 to defray passage money.
