Forwards as requested report of the medical superintendent on the 'lunatics' confined at District B Police Station during the month of April. Report gives number of patients and brief general information about conditions, employment, health, rations and number of visits by medical officer. Governor reminds Colonial Office that the present Lunatic Asylum is far too small for the requirements of the colony, but that there is now 'every prospect' that a new asylum will shortly be built.
