Description

Granby to Holdernesse: victory at Quebec and death of Wolfe. The army's feu de joie contested by the French. It is reported the French army will be augmented by several thousand foreign troops, and will take the field on 1 January. Dated at 'Kroffdorf'. ff. 123, 124
