Description

Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick to Holdernesse: he does not think there will be any more complaints from the Dutch on the Rhine crossing. He settled the claims for compensation by Dutch subjects. He requests infantry reinforcements as well as the cavalry, and they should number not less than 10,000. His relief at the success of the negotiations with the landgrave of Hesse. He hopes the duke of Marlborough can continue his attacks on the French coast. He has sent Major von Hondstedt to Emden to receive the cavalry. Dated at 'Hauss zur Dyck'. ff. 126-128
