Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick to Holdernesse: his satisfaction at the reinforcements. He will send a cavalry officer to Emden to convey them to the army. He would wish for similar reinforcements in infantry and artillery. He is pleased that the duke of Marlborough is continuing his operations and hopes that they will draw troops from Clermont's army. He welcomes Holdernesse's negotiations with the landgrave of Hesse. Dated at 'Osterad'. ff. 122, 123
