Holdernesse to Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick: the king is satisfied with his reply to the princess royal [SP 87/33/38]. The Dutch have made no representation to Holdernesse on the subject. All is being done to prepare the departure of the corps of English cavalry. Reasons for the duke of Marlborough's withdrawal from St Malo. He has just received news of Brunswick's victory at Krefeld. He lists the regiments of cavalry joining the army, commanded by Lieutenant General Blythe and Major General the marquess of Granby. Dated at Whitehall. ff. 93-98
