Holdernesse to Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick: the king has ordered enquiries to be made into the difficulties of the landgrave of Hesse. He welcomes Brunswick's efforts to engage the landgrave in the cause. There is difficulty in obtaining the pontoons in the Netherlands, and so they are being worked on in England. Dated at Whitehall. ff. 31, 32
