Gives information concerning the disposal of a property in Southampton Parish, formerly belonging to the 'spinster' Frances Green, which had been escheated to the Crown. Explains it was advised that the land pass to Green's grandson John Stewart. Encloses an extract from the Privy Council minutes of 27 August, a letter from the acting colonial secretary, petitions from Moses Samuel Rayner and John Stewart, as well as the testimony of Provost Marshal General John H Trott and jurors; Joseph Durham Evans, William Todd Cooper, Mallory Todd Frith, William Henry King, Alpheus Evans, Henry Edwards, Isaac B Cooper, Rudolph D William Löblein, George Frith, Josephus Perenchief, Joseph Francis Darrell, and William Newbold Talbot.
