Reports that the Legislature had made provisions for the salaries of the chief justice, colonial secretary, and attorney general due to the reduction of the annual Parliamentary grant. The grant was to be reduced from £4,200 to £2,500 and would cover the governor's salary and part of the colonial secretary's and chief justice's salaries.
