Reports approval of the appointment of James Musson, a St. George's merchant, as consul for Sweden, Norway and Hamburg. Mentions that Musson had attacked the governor and attorney general in local journals in 1863, but added that since then his 'conduct and demeanour towards the local government has been perfectly proper'.
