Further regarding dismissal of Dr. Keech, late assistant surgeon, Public Hospital and Lunatic Asylum; Keech expressed no desire to offer any defence of his conduct and has left the hospital, replacement Dr. Stern now in post. Enclosed: correspondence confirming Keech's appointment in 1857 by the former commissioners of the Hospital.
