Colonel I Durand to Holdernesse: after mustering the regiment at Münster, he was warned by Major General Zastrow of the presence of enemy troops between Warendorf and Lippstadt. He applied for fresh instructions to Prince Ferdinand through his adjutant-general, Colonel Reden, and gives a copy of his letter, and of the reply, advising him to accept the sworn states of the outstanding regiments and to return to Dülmen. Account of an action near Borken. Dated at headquarters at Dülmen. ff. 3-12
