Colonel I Durand to Holdernesse: Prince Ferdinand, observing that the enemy had re-crossed the Erft, ordered his army to pitch camp. Durand does not think there will be an engagement as both armies are well posted with the river between them. It is reported that the French under Soubise have taken Marburg. Dated at headquarters at Bedburdyck. ff. 118-121
