Description

Mr. George Gun Munro recommended for appointment as Magistrate and Mr Morris as Harbour Master; recommended by Mr. Samuel Cockburn. Kortright mentions four applicants for consideration for appointment as Harbour Master: Mr Durant [Colonial Revenue Officer at St. Vincent], Mr. Geates [Harbour Master in Tobago], Mr. Peter Guthrie and Mr. Augustus Edward Dalgell Morris. Kortright recommends Mr. Morris; encloses testimonials for Mr. Morris from John Speers & Co., Mr. Eccles & Co., and Walter Alexander of William J. Burseley [?] & Co, Glasgow.
