Zousch requests that delivery of his fees and rents in Wynterbournestoke and Dorset which the escheator took into the king's hand after the death of Ellen la Zouche whose heir he is.
Nature of endorsement
The escheator should come and certify to the king's council on the contents of the petition, and the inquisitions should be viewed in Chancery and let justice be done.

Note
The petition dates to c. 1296 as the IPMs of Ellen la Zouche date from 20 August to 14 September 1296, and it is unlikely that the petition is much later than these (CIPM, vol. III, no.363). However, it should be noted that the inquisitions make no mention of any lands in these English counties.
