Nature of request
Justice requests that she can be delivered of her messuage and land in Kersey which Wayland entered after her father's death and then granted to Despenser. She requested the return of the messuage from Despenser but he declined. The messuage is now in the king's hand.
Nature of endorsement
Certain people should be assigned in Chancery to enquire, in the presence of the keepers of the lands referred to in the petition, of the veracity of the contents of the petition and all other things touching this matter. The inquisition should be returned into Chancery and shown to the king.
