Nature of request
The people request remedy for the great grievances done by ordinaries by taking before them pleas of contract, covenants, debts and other pleas to the great damage and oppression of the people and the disinheritance of the king.
Nature of endorsement
They should have a prohibition and attachment as the law demands if any ordinary of the Church impleads any man in court Christian of things pertaining to the crown.
Note
Dated, on the basis of the hand, to the first half of the fourteenth century (probably relatively early within that date range).
